Holidays…
by Betsy Sobiech

Today we have our call about the holiday season, so I’m getting a hard start by looking at my own feelings and thoughts about the upcoming two weeks. Primarily I’m feeling somewhat overwhelmed, excited, and nervous … not so much because of the holidays specifically, but because I feel like I have “so much I have to get done.”
So what I first have to accept is that I feel anxious, overwhelmed, and busy thinking I should be able to do nothing and relax, since it’s the holidays.
What I choose to focus on are the following beliefs that I have: Everything important will get done at the perfect time. Taking care of myself and my relationships with others is always a priority. I’m having fun, and I’m totally inspired by what I’m working on. All is well.
Throughout the holidays, I will feel present, connected, and thankful each moment, no matter what I’m doing.
Thanks for joining in the conversation to be intentional about this season. Any shift you make in your thinking and feeling will make a difference for everyone around you.
Cheers,
Betsy
