Women's Resource Group
Many women are motivated to learn in a community with other women. It’s often challenging to figure out how to reach women across the organization in a meaningful way, and organizations must use their money wisely when investing in leadership development. Women’s Resource Groups (also known as Employee Resource Groups or Business Resource Groups) are addressing those challenges, particularly when strategically designed. The most effective Resource Groups provide enough structure to ensure that practical development occurs with enough flexibility and freedom to have volunteer-run groups flex their leadership style.
Our approach is to integrate the Resource Group’s content with the cultural priorities of the organization, design the structure so that is works with the business’ priorities, and involve internal resources to minimize cost and increase ownership.
