10 Ways to be a Leader (Number 10 will Surprise You!)
We’ve talked a lot about what makes a great leader. Leaders slow down, leaders lead, and they build diversity in their organization. Leaders wear many hats and take on many tasks. Based on our experience working with leaders around the world, we’ve compiled a Top 10 list of leadership traits.
 42540473_s 1. Leaders relate well to others. This means being a good listener, making connections, and being able to work collaboratively. A human-to-human connection is key!
 Prepare Your Mind 2. Leaders have a clear vision of where they are going and communicate it so others are inspired and willing to come along. What motivates you? What sparks your passion? How are you going to pursue it in the future? Be specific.
 11274460_s 3. Leaders invite debate and diverse perspectives. Diverse perspectives expand awareness, facilitate exchanges, and increase individuals’ willingness to interact with out-of-group participants.

Leaders take personal responsibility for everything that has and has not happened and they share acknowledgment freely. Taking responsibility sets the expectation, within your organization, that action is forthcoming. It prioritizes continuous learning and creates the possibility that your organization will get it right the next time and shifts your culture to focus on growth.
